Email Account

Here are the features for the email account

Plus Sign Email Aliasing

How It Works

The plus sign feature works automatically with all email accounts in our system. No special settings are required!

Any email sent to account+anything@example.com will automatically arrive in the inbox for account@example.com.

Examples

john@example.com # Your account email address
john+shopping@example.com # For online shopping emails
john+social@example.com # For social media emails
john+newsletters@example.com # For subscription emails

All these variations deliver to the same account address.

Catch-All Email Addresses

Setting Up a Catch-All

  1. Go to Accounts page
  2. Select "Create"
  3. For the username, enter * (just the asterisk symbol)
  4. Select your domain
  5. Set the password
  6. Click on "Create"

This creates a special email account that catches any messages sent to undefined addresses at your domain.

How It Works

Once configured, any email sent to anythinghere@example.com (even if you never created that specific email address) will be delivered to your catch-all account.

Example Catch-All Email Addresses

jo*@example.com # Your account email address
john@example.com # Captured by catch-all
joe@example.com # Captured by catch-all
jo1001@example.com # Captured by catch-all

Why Use a Catch-All Email Address?

A catch-all email address ensures that you never miss an email, even if the sender mistypes the address. It's particularly useful for businesses that want to capture all potential customer inquiries.
