Mailbox

Managing mailboxes and auto-delete

Default Mailboxes

Every new account starts with five mailboxes:

  • Inbox: incoming messages
  • Sent: copies of what you send
  • Drafts: unsent messages
  • Trash: deleted messages
  • Junk: spam

These can't be deleted, but you can configure auto-delete on any of them.

All incoming emails go to the Inbox. The other folders exist for IMAP client compatibility.

Custom Mailboxes

Create additional mailboxes to organize messages by test run, environment, or client.

To create a mailbox, open an account in the Mail section and use the mailbox sidebar, or through the API.

Renaming

Open a mailbox's context menu in the sidebar to rename it.

Auto-Delete

Mailboxes can automatically delete messages after a set period. If you're running high-volume tests, this keeps mailboxes from filling up.

Open a mailbox's context menu in the sidebar and select the auto-delete option. Enable it and set the timeout in seconds. Messages older than that threshold get deleted. Works on both default and custom mailboxes.

The timeout value is in seconds. For example, 86400 = 1 day, 604800 = 1 week.
